Job Summary
As an IT Security Officer at HessenForst, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the organization's information and IT infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing and maintaining IT security strategies, creating and updating information security concepts, and ensuring compliance with relevant European and international laws, particularly the NIS-2 directive. You will establish and manage risk assessment processes, conduct analyses, and develop IT emergency and business continuity plans. Required Skills
Education
• University degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma) in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or equivalent • University degree as a Certified Public Administrator (Diplom Verwaltungswirt), or equivalent • Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent
Experience
- Long-term practical experience in information and communication technology (desirable)
- Proven in-depth expertise in information security, BSI IT-Grundschutz, national and European regulations and laws
- Experience in data protection (desirable)
- Experience in IT security, ideally as an IT Security Officer (advantageous)
- Knowledge and experience of the IT security strategy of the State of Hesse (desirable)
