Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Engineer specializing in test operations, focusing on the maintenance, care, and upkeep of electrical systems and test stand infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and configuring electrical test stand systems for development projects, ensuring their operational readiness and safety. Key duties include creating technical documentation, overseeing plant safety, and acting as the responsible electrical expert, coordinating electrically instructed personnel. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drive Technology, or comparable education with further training as an Electrical Master (Meister Elektrotechnik)
Experience
- Professional experience as a responsible and instructed electrical expert (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft) according to DIN VDE 1000-10 and DIN VDE 0105-100 (desirable)
- Proven knowledge of electrical machines/systems & drives, including medium voltage switching authorization
- Experience in the planning, design, operation, and hazard assessment of electrical systems
- Routine in creating specifications (requirements and functional specifications), technical reports, and protocols
- Basic knowledge in fluid mechanics and turbomachinery (desirable)
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system control and regulation (desirable)
