Job Summary

This role is for a proactive System Engineer specializing in 1st and 2nd level support for a fast-growing high-tech and IT company. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, independently analyzing, categorizing, and prioritizing issues received via phone, email, or ticketing system. They will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions from analysis to completion, meticulously documenting results, and maintaining the knowledge base. This position requires close collaboration with Product Managers and Product Owners, active participation in training, and a willingness to travel up to 40% for occasional onsite support, particularly for military clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong IT background, experience with domain services and network administration, and a structured, team-oriented work approach.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable vocational training

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the IT environment
  • Professional experience with common domain services (AD, CA, LDAP, Radius)
  • Relevant experience in network administration (Routing, Switching, Firewalling, DNS, DHCP, VPN, WiFi)

Languages

German (Fluent)English (Basic)
