Job Summary

This role is for an innovative and technology-driven Laboratory Specialist focusing on mineral oil and special analytics. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting C14 analyses for biogenic carbon content, operating and evaluating gas chromatographs, and performing sulfur determinations with specialized equipment. The specialist will also handle classic physical analytics of refinery samples, including density, flash point, freezing point, cloud point, conductivity, and distillation, along with processing samples across the petroleum spectrum. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or a comparable natural science/technical field, or an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant with further qualification as a state-certified technician or relevant professional experience in physical-chemical analytics.
