Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping and advancing data management within the DZ BANK Group. As a Data Governance function (2nd Line of Defense), the specialist will collaborate closely with the Executive Board, group companies, and departments to continuously develop Data Governance standards, processes, and tools. Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing processes for monitoring the implementation of Executive Board directives on Data Governance and Data Quality, reporting findings to senior management, and providing expert support to various departments like accounting and risk controlling. Required Skills

Education

Successful degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar function within a banking environment, auditing firm, consultancy, internal audit, or a 2nd-line function
  • Experience in the conception, implementation, or practical application of requirements from BCBS 239, ECB Guide RDARR, or comparable data management regulations for banks
  • Initial experience in one of the supported disciplines (e.g., accounting, supervisory law, transaction banking, or risk controlling) is advantageous
  • Practical experience with common Data Governance methods and Data Management tools is advantageous
  • Familiarity with supervisory and/or internal audits with BCBS 239 relevance
