Job Summary
This role involves leading the technical design, deployment, and evolution of a Data Management & Analytics platform built on Azure Databricks. The expert will be responsible for automating and managing Azure Databricks infrastructures using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, stability, and maintainability. Key tasks include establishing and maintaining secure network communications between cloud and on-premise resources, implementing CI/CD pipelines in MS DevOps, and developing concepts for platform expansion, including integrating third-party analytics tools like PowerBI. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern IT environment, contributing to the strategic use of data within a leading universal bank, and building future-proof data platforms and services.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a related field
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in Azure Databricks
- Several years of experience in Terraform development
- Several years of experience working with Azure DevOps
- At least 5 years of IT project experience
- Professional experience in implementing Data Lakehouse and Medallion architectures, and Delta Lake
- Professional experience with Unity Catalog and authorization management via Microsoft Entra ID
- Professional experience in programming with Python, Spark/PySpark, and SQL
- Professional experience in distributed computing with Databricks
