Job Summary
This role is for a Laboratory Specialist to perform crucial analytical work on refinery samples such as diesel, heating oil, naphtha, and kerosene. Daily tasks involve conducting a wide range of physical and instrumental analyses, including density, flash point, freezing point, cloud point, conductivity, and distillation. The specialist will also perform advanced instrumental analyses like C14, gas chromatography, sulfur determination, and X-ray fluorescence analysis. Key responsibilities extend to processing special samples, collaborating with clients on specific analysis requirements, meticulously documenting results, and ensuring laboratory equipment functionality through minor maintenance. The position requires a structured, independent work style, readiness for shift work and weekend duties, and active participation in on-call rotations. Education
Completed vocational training in Laboratory, Chemistry, or Process Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in physical and instrumental analytics (desirable)
