Job Summary
This role is for a Measurement Systems and Sensor Technology Developer specializing in engine and component testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing new measurement and analysis methods, overseeing the entire measurement chain from sensor to analysis software. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining measurement methods and systems, coordinating requirements with departments, designing measurement setups, and calibrating complex systems. The position involves providing technical support during development tests, troubleshooting, and advising on data interpretation. Required Skills
Education
Technical degree, preferably in Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in developing and refining measurement methods and systems
- Experience in coordinating requirements with technical departments
- Experience in designing measurement setups
- Experience in calibration, setup, and acceptance of complex measurement systems
- Experience in providing measurement support for development tests
- Experience in error detection and resolution
- Experience in advising technical departments on measurement result interpretation
- Experience in presenting and discussing results with clients
- Experience in documenting work through measurement protocols and reports
- Experience in conducting technology projects in measurement technology/instrumentation development
- Experience in acquisition and proposal preparation for contract measurements
