This role is for a Development Engineer focusing on low-temperature superconductors at a leading manufacturer in Hanau. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning and executing projects for product and process development, implementing results into manufacturing, and actively supporting qualification processes and pilot series. They will also be responsible for analyzing manufacturing variations to optimize products, adapting processes to specific requirements, and advancing analytical methods. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in melt metallurgy and forming of Nb- or Ti-alloys
- Professional experience in superconductor technology or wire manufacturing (desirable)
- Professional experience in project management
- Professional experience in material characterization of these materials (desirable)
