Job Summary
This System Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining system architectures for safety-critical systems, particularly within the military sector. Day-to-day tasks involve applying the V-Model XT, analyzing system requirements, and documenting specifications and architectural models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MBSE, experience with tools like Enterprise Architect (SysML) and DOORS, and a deep understanding of complex technical systems. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with various engineering teams, technically manage subcontractors, and foster a model-based development culture, contributing to cutting-edge projects for prominent clients.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable field
Experience
- At least 3 years as a System Engineer in safety-critical systems
- Experience in the defense sector (ideally)
- Professional experience in MBSE, Maintainability-Standards, V-Model XT, and System Architecture Methodology
- Experience with Enterprise Architect (SysML), DOORS, and MBSE tools
- Understanding of complex technical systems and their interrelations between function, architecture, and maintenance
