Job Summary
This Civil Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation and development of one of the world's largest cemeteries in Hamburg. You will be instrumental in managing and enhancing critical infrastructure, including extensive sewage, rainwater, and drainage systems, as well as over 20 km of roads and 100 km of pathways. The position involves overseeing projects from conceptual design through all phases of implementation, including planning, tendering, construction supervision, and billing. You will develop practical sanitation concepts, manage maintenance and repair of various systems, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor)
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in all service phases of HOAI
- Professional experience in public procurement and construction contract law (e.g., HOAI, VOB, VgV)
- Experience with relevant guidelines (e.g., DIN standards, DWA worksheets)
- Experience in approval procedures and collaboration with authorities
- Experience in managing budgets and grant funds
- Experience in client-side project management (Bauherrenfunktion)
