Job Summary
This role involves the independent programming of PLC systems, user interfaces, and drive components directly at customer sites, focusing on surface technology plants. The specialist will engage in international assignments for the assembly and commissioning of these systems, adapting and developing control and visualization software (e.g., S7, TIA-Portal, WinCC), and configuring drive technology. Key responsibilities also include inspecting electrical installations, creating technical documentation, and conducting user training. This position is ideal for someone with an electrical or automation engineering background, practical commissioning experience, and a high willingness to travel globally, offering a dynamic environment to apply and expand technical expertise.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, Further education as a State-certified Technician (Elektrotechniker) with a focus on Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in commissioning technical plants or components
- Solid foundational knowledge in automation technology, especially control systems
- Basic knowledge in drive technology (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- High willingness to travel globally (up to 80%) for commissioning and service assignments
