Required Skills
Education
• Completed university degree in Engineering Sciences, preferably Electrical Engineering, or comparable • Demonstrated pedagogical and didactic aptitude through practical experience • Exceptional ability for in-depth independent scientific work, typically evidenced by an above-average doctorate in the field of the professorship
Experience
- Professional experience in medical technology, especially in biosignal acquisition, measurement of microtechnical sensors, and digital evaluation
- At least 5 years of professional experience in applying or developing scientific knowledge and methods, with at least 3 years outside the higher education sector
- Experience in developing and applying electronic components for complex medical devices (diagnosis and/or therapy) is ideal
- Knowledge of intelligent active implants and/or specific sensor technology for medical or mechatronic applications is ideal
- Connections to industrial and institutional partners in the field are ideal
- Leadership experience, including responsibility for finances and personnel, is ideal
