Job Summary
This Senior Scientist role at Coriolis Pharma, a leading CRDO in Martinsried, Germany, involves contributing to the development of innovative biopharmaceutical drugs. The successful candidate will be a key member of a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team, focusing on state-of-the-art liquid chromatography (LC) analytics for formulations and lyophilization processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading client projects, developing and executing LC analysis for biopharmaceutical molecules, and driving LC innovation. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse international teams, support global clients, and significantly impact drug development from preclinical to commercialization, improving the quality of life for humankind.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, (bio)chemistry, or a related field, preferably with a PhD related to (U)HPLC method development or retention mechanism studies
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in biopharmaceutical characterization by LC (with PhD in relevant field)
- Minimum 9 years of industry experience in biopharmaceutical characterization by LC (without PhD in relevant field)
- In-depth knowledge in biopharmaceutical characterization by LC (RP, SEC, IEX) with UV, FLD, RI or CAD detection
- Hands-on experience with (U)HPLCs from various vendors (e.g., Dionex/Thermo Fisher, Waters, Agilent)
- Experience with developing, transferring, and troubleshooting LC analytical methods in an industry setting
- Significant experience as a project manager with strong project management skills
