Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the fire safety and operational readiness of the Elsterland office and its associated facilities, including three daycares and a primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing training and further education for firefighters, managing their health examinations, and processing compensation and awards. Key tasks also include the procurement, administration, and maintenance of fire department equipment, from vehicles to protective clothing, and managing firefighter records using specialized software. The position requires active participation in developing regulations and risk analyses, preparing for and attending fire department meetings, and collaborating with volunteer forces and neighboring fire protection agencies. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Assistant, successfully completed Employee Course I, or a comparable qualification. Training as a Squad Leader (Truppführer) according to FwDV 2 is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration, preferably in fire protection
  • Knowledge of Brandenburg Fire and Disaster Protection Act (BbgBKG)
  • Knowledge of Fire Service Regulations (FwDV)
  • Knowledge of Premium and Decoration Act (PrämEhrG)
