Job Summary

As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including fire alarm systems (BMA), intruder alarm systems (EMA), video surveillance, and access control systems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve mounting and wiring components, programming control units, documenting work, and providing on-site customer support and technical advice. This role offers a high degree of independence and decision-making freedom within a modern work environment utilizing the latest technologies. You will work with an engaged team, benefit from regular training, and contribute to ensuring the safety and security of clients in the Flensburg region.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an electro-technical field (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology) or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Experience with security systems (e.g., fire alarm, intruder alarm, video surveillance systems) is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of network technology (IP-based systems, integration into IT structures)
  • Professional experience in an electro-technical field is beneficial, including for career changers with technical understanding
