This role is for a Metrology Technician seeking a career change within a stable and growing industry, specifically with a world market leader in the aviation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the calibration of measuring devices across various physical parameters, including adjustments and minor repairs. Key responsibilities also involve independent scheduling of calibration tasks, creating and archiving calibration protocols, and developing or evaluating calibration instructions. The position requires maintaining calibration equipment and performing tasks both in the internal calibration laboratory and at manufacturing facilities, occasionally at external company locations.
