Job Summary

This working student role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of energy by supporting the international research and development project InterOPERA at Amprion. You'll be instrumental in developing technical specifications for multi-terminal HVDC systems, focusing on interoperability between different manufacturers. Day-to-day tasks include researching component requirements, translating written requirements into management tools, assisting with risk analysis for interoperability studies, and presenting findings. This position is ideal for an Electrical Engineering student with an interest in offshore grid connection projects, offering hands-on experience in a critical area of the energy transition and a chance to work with cutting-edge HVDC technology.

Required Skills

Education

Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field. Completed vocational training in an electrical profession is advantageous.

Experience

  • Interest in offshore grid connection projects
  • Knowledge of Requirements Engineering and/or relevant tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Relatics) is desirable
  • Conscientious work ethic and proficiency with common IT systems
