Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated IT Specialist to join the Process Data Technology South department in Laatzen, focusing on the future of energy supply. The specialist will be responsible for the independent implementation, monitoring, and administration of virtualized Windows and Linux servers, along with the introduction and operation of storage systems. Key tasks also include planning, building, and maintaining hardware components, initiating measures for disruptions and vulnerabilities, and contributing to the conceptual and strategic development of ISMS in secondary and transmission technology. This position requires participation in on-call duty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, storage and backup technologies, and excellent analytical skills, contributing to a strong team culture and critical infrastructure operations.
