Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Test Engineer specializing in high-voltage components and battery management systems within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in validating energy management systems, optimizing high-voltage component efficiency to maximize vehicle range, and conducting test drives for electric vehicles under real-world conditions. Day-to-day tasks will involve developing configurations, creating detailed specification documents, ensuring development quality through modern processes, and thoroughly documenting and releasing final products. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of electromobility within a dynamic team in Mannheim, focusing on technical innovation and precise validation to bring cutting-edge electric vehicles to market.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field. Vocational training is an advantage.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and application of electronic components, especially in high-voltage systems
- Comprehensive know-how in the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests and test series
- Experience in gathering, organizing, and managing specifications for energy systems and familiarity with software systems
- Experience in steering and leading projects in vehicle development
- Familiarity with simulation and analysis of faults in electronics and high-voltage systems
Languages
Additional
- LKW-driving license (truck driving license) is an advantage. Openness for new topics and advanced technological approaches.
