This System Engineer role focuses on the administration, monitoring, and optimization of digital platforms for schools within a Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes environment. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree (Dipl.-FH or Bachelor) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT study program; OR successfully completed IT vocational training with extensive further education in two additional IT specializations (e.g., platforms for digital technologies, application operations, IT architecture, DevOps, and container technologies).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes administration
- Professional experience in operating applications on container platforms
- Professional experience with Web components like Apache and Tomcat
- Professional experience with Linux, Ansible, Git, YAML
- Willingness to perform on-call and standby duties
Languages
Additional
- Work location options: Munich, Nuremberg, or Regensburg. Eligible for civil servant status (Beamtenverhältnis) for IT Bachelor graduates depending on suitability and performance.
