Job Summary

This role involves managing the "TIMON" project, a key digitalization initiative for Jena's Public Health Department, aimed at modernizing health services to meet current public health challenges. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing the project, including budget management and coordinating work packages. Key responsibilities also include managing information flow between internal and external stakeholders, preparing status and milestone reports, and developing strategic papers and concepts for digitalization projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, a solution-oriented approach, and a deep understanding of digital technologies, contributing to the future-proofing of public health services in Jena.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Administration, Communication Science, Business Informatics, Public Management, eHealth, IT Management, or comparable; or a qualification as a Public Administration Specialist (FL II). Certified Project Management qualification (preferably IPMA) is desirable.

Experience

  • Experience in digitalization and/or strategy projects
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in change management (advantageous)
  • Experience in the use of public funding programs (advantageous)
