Job Summary
This leadership role at the State Criminal Police Office of North Rhine-Westphalia (LKA NRW) involves overseeing the entire budget, procurement, and property management for an agency dedicated to combating crime and ensuring internal security. The successful candidate will lead a team of 50 employees across three sections: Budget and Economic Affairs, Property Management, and Central Procurement. Day-to-day, you will advise agency leadership on budget and procurement law, manage the agency's annual budget of approximately 49 million Euros, and ensure the provision of necessary equipment. This challenging position requires an experienced administrative professional with strong leadership and strategic competencies to support a growing authority.
Required Skills
Education
• Eligibility for the second entry-level office of career group 2 (career group 2.2) of the general administrative service, or equivalent qualifications for promotion to salary group A 15 LBesO A NRW/BBesO A • For judges: at least 6.5 points in the second state examination • For administrative assessors: at least satisfactory performance in the state examination after the administrative traineeship
Experience
- Professional experience as a civil servant in federal, state, or municipal administration
- At least two years in a leadership position
