Job Summary

This role involves ensuring compliance with wastewater regulations by monitoring indirect dischargers and commercial/industrial wastewater treatment plants within Cologne. The Field Laboratory Technician will conduct on-site and laboratory sample collections of wastewater and solids, including work in the Cologne sewage system and treatment plants. Key responsibilities include operating sampling automatons and data loggers for pH and odor monitoring, performing analyses according to German standard procedures, and registering samples in the laboratory data system. The position requires managing a wastewater control vehicle and maintaining equipment.
