Job Summary
This role is for an engaged Service Technician specializing in network and telecommunications, particularly fiber optics, to join a team working on over 20 projects across Germany. Day-to-day, you will be installing, maintaining, and repairing communication systems, focusing on fiber optic and UPS systems. This includes integrating optical transmission systems, performing measurements, troubleshooting, and documenting all processes. The ideal candidate will have a background as a communication or telecommunication electrician, with experience in fiber optic splicing, UPS system maintenance, and network cabling. This position offers a secure, permanent contract with opportunities for direct employment after a few months, attractive compensation, and comprehensive support.
Required Skills
Education
Completed (electro)technical training (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Information and Telecommunications Technology, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology)
Experience
- Professional experience in telecommunications and network technology
- Experience in fiber optic splicing
- Experience in commissioning and maintenance of UPS systems
- Experience in planning, installation, and commissioning of system/network technology
- Experience with network and fiber optic cabling
