Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Service Hotline Technician to join FERCHAU, supporting customers across Europe, Russia, Africa, and India. Day-to-day, you'll be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, providing essential support, managing tickets from inception to resolution, and analyzing call data in the CRM system. You'll also identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and performance improvements in client systems, and coordinate spare part orders. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology, with experience in machine and plant assembly or commissioning. Good command of MS Office and SAP is required, along with excellent English language skills. Required Skills

Education

Technician or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience in assembly or commissioning in mechanical and plant engineering
  • Knowledge of automated application technology and robotics (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Professional experience in a technical support role (implied)
