Job Summary
This role involves developing and optimizing wiring harness systems for a leading vehicle manufacturer, ensuring all technical requirements are met. The engineer will act as a crucial link between clients and internal development teams, managing technical coordination for installation space and product modifications. Key responsibilities include evaluating change requests, supporting problem resolution during vehicle development, and meticulously documenting project progress. The position requires independent CAD work on wiring harness components, supporting international production sites, and actively participating in risk analyses and design validations. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- At least five years of professional experience in wiring harness or electrics/electronics within the VW Group environment
- Professional experience in wiring harness development and vehicle networking
- Experience in supporting international production sites, especially during project ramp-up phases
- Active participation in risk analyses and design validations
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driving license
