Job Summary

This role is for a Project Manager to lead the implementation of significant construction projects, primarily focusing on civil engineering within the Stuttgart region. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the expansion of the B14 highway, a large-scale project involving the construction of 16 bridges, 2 tunnels, and various other structures, with a total budget of approximately 389 million Euros. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, conceptualizing, tendering, awarding, and overseeing construction and engineering services, along with managing project control, site supervision, and billing. This position offers the chance to contribute to one of Germany's largest federal highway projects, working within a dynamic team at a major public authority, and shaping future-oriented mobility solutions.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Dipl.-Ing. FH) in Civil Engineering or a comparable field. Specialization in Civil Engineering is advantageous.

Experience

  • Professional experience in construction preparation, awarding, site management, and construction supervision (VOB)
  • Basic knowledge of tendering and billing programs, especially in civil engineering
  • Knowledge in drafting and processing engineering contracts (HOAI)
  • Administrative experience
  • Knowledge of guidelines and regulations for public construction administration

  • Driver's license Class B (for passenger cars) is required. The position is based in Backnang-Waldrems. This is a full-time, permanent position. The weekly working hours are 39.5 hours, and the position is generally divisible (part-time possible).
