Job Summary
This role involves developing and implementing digital tools and platforms to enhance the 'Art Technology, Conservation, and Restoration of Art and Cultural Heritage' program at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. The successful candidate will focus on a sub-project called 'Research Data Management – Digital Housekeeping for Conservation,' aiming to make existing analog and digital data accessible through local search functions and AI analysis. Key responsibilities include developing technical-scientific methods, digitally preparing data, selecting suitable software and AI tools, collaborating with IT for implementation, and documenting learning success. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of art conservation and cutting-edge digital technology, contributing to innovative educational tools and fostering international collaboration through AI mentoring.
Required Skills
Education
Master's or Diploma in Engineering Sciences, Computer Science, Archival Studies, Conservation/Restoration, or a related field
Experience
- Experience with Research Data Management (FDM)
