As Counsel Sanctions Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization adheres to international sanctions regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing expert legal advice on compliance matters, conducting thorough risk assessments, and developing robust policies and procedures to mitigate sanctions-related risks. You will collaborate extensively with various departments, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations, to align all business activities with international trade laws. This role also involves coordinating cross-functional teams for export control compliance, managing licensing strategies, and developing internal compliance programs. You will report on program status to senior management, liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies, and foster a strong culture of compliance through training.
