Job Summary

This role is for a Development Engineer focusing on the design and construction of mechanical assemblies and cable harnesses for switchgear components made from metal and/or plastic. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating manufacturing documents, including drawings and bills of materials, and selecting appropriate materials. Day-to-day tasks involve overseeing the ordering and production of sample parts, coordinating change processes, and introducing new products. Collaboration with manufacturing, quality assurance, and suppliers is key to ensuring optimal solutions for cable harness designs and mechanical assemblies.
