Job Summary

The Postdoctoral Fellow will be instrumental in launching innovative, graduate-level development economics programs at the University of Zurich (UZH) through the Lemann Center, in partnership with the Alliance for Data, Evaluation, and Policy Training (ADEPT) and MIT/J-PAL. A core responsibility is spearheading the co-design and operational launch of these new programs, including curriculum development, navigating regulatory requirements, and managing admissions setup. The role also involves teaching courses for students, policymakers, and early career researchers both at UZH and elsewhere, ranging from short professional courses to semester-long classes. Furthermore, the Fellow will support ADEPT's university partnerships and contribute 20% of their time to independent research projects. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a PhD holder passionate about policy-relevant research and global capacity building in a highly collaborative, international academic environment.

PhD in Economics or a related field with PhD-level economics coursework

Experience
