Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous technical operational readiness of all simulation technology and other digital training aids, such as VR technology, within the German Federal Police's Maritime Training and Education Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for system maintenance, fault analysis, and documentation of operational processes. They will also contribute to the conceptual and technical implementation and further development of simulation technology. After a successful suitability selection process, the individual will be appointed as a police officer, undergoing comprehensive theoretical and practical training for police service. Education

University degree (Diploma or Bachelor) suitable for technical use in Information and Communication Technology

Experience

  • At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in information and communication technology

  • Must be a German or EU/EEA citizen. Must not have exceeded the age limit for entry into the higher police enforcement service (under 34, or under 42 with 3+ years of professional experience, exceptions for soldiers with 8+ years of service). Must be physically fit for police duty (determined by sports test and medical examination). Must uphold the democratic basic order of Germany. No criminal record. Stable financial situation.
