Job Summary
This role involves joining the German Federal Police's maritime component, Bundespolizei See, after successfully passing an aptitude test and police training. As a Sensor/ICT Officer aboard patrol vessels, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of sensor and communication systems. This includes monitoring encryption technologies and security protocols, as well as training and advising onboard users. Additionally, you will perform police control and investigation duties, including case processing. - German or EU/EEA citizenship, not exceeding age limit for entry into the higher police enforcement service (under 34, or under 42 with 3+ years of professional experience, exceptions for soldiers with 8+ years of service), police service suitability, health suitability for onboard service (especially sea service suitability), no criminal record, stable financial situation, physical fitness for police duty, commitment to the German Basic Law.
