Job Summary

This role is for a Senior PLC Programmer specializing in industrial automation, focusing on automotive projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs, diagnosing and resolving issues in automation systems, and performing regular maintenance and updates. A key aspect of the role involves supporting the commissioning and testing of electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical problems, and implementing design improvements based on industry trends. This position requires significant travel (around 75%) to customer sites and the BÄR Automation GmbH facility in Gemmingen, or to Munich headquarters if based in Gemmingen/Stuttgart.
