Job Summary

This role involves contributing to nuclear waste management, specifically focusing on radiation measurement and protection for a client in nuclear engineering. Day-to-day tasks include preparing expert reports and applications for the storage of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste in the Konrad repository. The professional will perform radiation calculations, implement radiation protection measures for various types of radiation (alpha, beta, gamma, neutron), and meticulously document radiation exposure and measurements. A key aspect is ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, especially those concerning radiation protection and atomic law, and supporting the implementation of repository conditions according to the Konrad concept.
