Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated doctoral candidate in Microbiology, focusing on cutting-edge research in food and industrial microbiology. The successful candidate will lead and execute research activities, primarily investigating the impact of food and food additives on the human gut microbiome and developing new gut microbiome models. This involves extensive experimental work, utilizing advanced methods like DNA sequencing, PCR, bioreactors, and high-performance computing. The position also entails publishing research findings, participating in national and international conferences, contributing to teaching, and supervising student theses. Required Skills

Education

Master of Science (M. Sc.) or equivalent in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, or a comparable field.
