Job Summary

This role involves developing and implementing a new concept for social integration services for children and young people, based on recent legal changes. Day-to-day, you will provide crucial support, advice, and guidance to young individuals and their families through the application process for integration assistance benefits. This includes conceptual work to merge services, developing reporting systems, and engaging in networking and public relations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of social law, experience in advising young people and families, and excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a part-time, fixed-term position within a supportive public service environment, offering opportunities for professional development and a good work-life balance.

Required Skills

Education

• Qualification for Qualification Level 3 in Public Administration and Finance (Germany) OR • Completion of Employee Training Course II in Municipal Administration (Germany) OR • Completed degree in Social Work OR • First State Examination in Law (Germany) OR • A comparable university degree

Experience

  • Professional experience in advising and supporting young people with and without disabilities and their families
  • Desirable: Professional experience in youth welfare or integration assistance
