Job Summary

As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and evaluating network control and safety concepts for gas technology systems, including telecommunications, DECT, and in-house cable networks. Your day-to-day will involve planning, coordinating, and executing new construction, conversion, and reinvestment projects in telecommunications and remote control technology, alongside managing associated infrastructure like UPS systems. You will also oversee the planning and implementation of fiber optic (LWL) and copper (CU) long-distance cable connections. This role demands strong project management skills, particularly in scheduling, cost tracking, quality assurance, and resource planning, while integrating work safety aspects into all project phases. You will represent project goals to external stakeholders and suppliers, and lead engineering firms and vendors. Required Skills

Education

University degree or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications; ideally, additional vocational training in one of these fields.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and executing telecommunications and remote control technology projects
  • Experience preferably in gas technology systems or explosion-protected areas
  • Proven experience in project management techniques, including scheduling, cost tracking, quality assurance, and resource planning
