Job Summary

As an IT Service Manager at the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL), you will play a crucial role in modernizing public health services in Bavaria. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading IT Service Management projects, ensuring the seamless integration of ticketing systems, and continuously developing IT service processes. You will manage and optimize collaboration with external IT service providers for first, second, and third-level support, and oversee incident, problem, and change management. This role also supports the migration of IT infrastructures, such as moving from on-premises to cloud solutions. You'll work closely with various departments, senior IT management, and project leads, contributing to evidence-based public health, efficient administrative structures, and digital data transmission for health protection.
