Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive IT support for the Göttingen Police Department, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT and special technical systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring server and client environments, installing and maintaining ICT systems, peripheral devices, and media technology, as well as providing technical support for special technologies and situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT system integration, excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and experience with network technology and virtualization. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable vocational training in Information and Communication Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in data and network technology
- Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of networks, client PCs, and servers
- Experience with rights and roles concepts/models
- Experience in user support

- Must be willing to undergo a security clearance (Ü2 - Secret), which includes partners and household members. Willingness to participate in further training. Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when required.
