Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive management and development of technical documentation for process engineering plants, with a primary focus on gas plant technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, updating, and verifying existing documentation, including on-site 'as-built' checks, and ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Key responsibilities also include technical editing, data management, and acting as a primary contact for clients and suppliers. Additionally, the role involves product management and further development of the in-house SiSTO software solution, contributing to service evolution, customer support, and project management. This position is ideal for an engineer or technician with experience in plant engineering, strong organizational skills, and a keen interest in technical documentation and software development.
Required Skills
Education
Dipl.-Ing. (University Degree in Engineering) or Techniker (Certified Technician) in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Technology, Process Engineering, Supply Engineering, or HVAC
Experience
- Professional experience or training in process engineering plants, specifically gas technology (gas storage and transport), heating/climate and ventilation technology, or pipe/pipeline construction
- Experience with R&I schematics, isometrics, associated parts lists, and specifications
- Experience with plant identification systems
- Professional experience in documentation management and technical editing
- Experience in product management and software development (prototyping, testing, specifications) is a plus
- Experience in personnel leadership, budget planning, and project management is a plus
