Job Summary

This role involves contributing to significant public construction projects in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region as part of interdisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for providing planning and partial planning services in electrical engineering, including demand planning and feasibility studies, in accordance with HOAI. Key responsibilities also include participating in the selection and contract processing of freelance services, as well as managing and quality-checking external engineering firms and contractors. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, offer expert construction advice to department leadership, and contribute to the planning, awarding, management, and billing of construction services. This position offers the chance to manage challenging construction projects aligned with NRW's climate policy goals, contributing to CO2 reduction and certified sustainable development within one of Europe's largest and most ambitious real estate portfolios. The role offers a secure, permanent position with flexible working hours and up to 60% mobile work.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Master/Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or a comparable field; OR State-certified Technician or Master Craftsperson in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the real estate sector
  • At least six years of relevant professional experience in an engineering-like role (for Technicians/Master Craftspersons)
