Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Project Manager to lead the 'Allgäu Alpine Biodiversity Project', a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2028. The successful candidate will provide expert nature conservation advice to alpine farmers, plan and implement conservation measures, and collaborate with authorities and associations. Key responsibilities also include managing project funding applications and settlements, handling public relations, and meticulously documenting project progress. This position requires a strong background in nature conservation, agriculture, or biology, coupled with practical knowledge of alpine farming and regional biodiversity. Ideal for someone passionate about environmental protection, capable of independent work, and skilled in communication and project management.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's) in Nature Conservation, Landscape Management, Biology, Agriculture, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in alpine farming and operational management, ideally within or near the project area
- Experience in public relations and environmental education

- Must possess a Class B driving license and have access to a personal car for business use. Employment is contingent upon funding approval from the REACT-EU ESF program.
