Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Battery Technology Engineer who will drive the next generation of technological solutions for FERCHAU's clients. Day-to-day, the engineer will focus on the development of Lithium-ion batteries and Battery Management Systems, including creating specifications for functional safety, analyzing performance curves, and investigating failure mechanisms. A key part of the role involves developing simulations and test procedures to study battery behavior under various load conditions, contributing to hardware system architecture, defining interfaces, and supporting the design of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering, physics, or chemistry, coupled with hands-on experience in battery development and a passion for advancing energy storage technologies.
