Job Summary
Join Le Rosey Camps, Switzerland's oldest and largest boarding school, as a Science Teacher and Counselor for the Experimental Scientist Academy, catering to students aged 8–12. In this dynamic residential role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, hands-on science lessons and experiments that introduce basic natural science concepts. Your mission involves sparking curiosity, developing critical thinking, and ensuring safety during all practical activities. Candidates must hold a degree in Science or STEM Education and possess prior experience teaching this specific age group. An excellent command of English is mandatory. This is a unique opportunity to live and work in exceptional surroundings near Lake Geneva and in the Bernese Alps, fully integrated into an international community, with full-board accommodation provided. Degree or certification in Science, STEM Education, or related field
Experience
- Previous experience and/or training in the supervision of children and in summer camps
- Experience teaching science or conducting hands-on experiments for children aged 8–12
- Ability to design and lead collaborative science projects and experiments
- Experience in international or multicultural environments (asset)

- Due to work permit regulations, only candidates of EU/Swiss nationality or candidates holding a current Swiss work permit will be considered. This is a residential position requiring active participation in boarding life and camp activities. Appointment is subject to satisfactory Criminal Records Checks and Reference Checks. Staff must be present 2-4 days prior to the program start for training.
