Job Summary
This role involves managing challenging construction projects for state and federal properties within the Braunschweig, Gifhorn, Helmstedt, Peine, Salzgitter, Wolfenbüttel, and Wolfsburg regions. Day-to-day tasks include tendering, commissioning, supervising, and billing construction services, as well as leading and collaborating on new construction, renovation, expansion, and maintenance projects. You will also manage external engineering firms and provide expert technical advice to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in deep/road construction or urban water management) or Landscape Construction, or be a state-certified technician in civil engineering with relevant professional experience. Required Skills
Education
University degree (e.g., Bachelor's) in Civil Engineering (specialization in deep/road construction or urban water management) or a comparable field, OR a university degree in Landscape Construction, OR a state-certified technician in Civil Engineering (deep construction).
Experience
- Professional experience in deep/civil engineering (required for state-certified technicians and for higher salary grouping for landscape construction graduates)
- Experience with tendering, commissioning, supervision, and billing of construction services
- Experience in project leadership and collaboration for new construction, renovation, expansion, and maintenance projects
- Experience in managing external engineering firms
- Experience in providing technical advice and coordination with clients
