Job Summary
Join a leading company in global mobility as a RAM System Engineer, focusing on optimizing the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) of critical vehicle systems, such as air conditioning units. You will conduct detailed analyses of failure modes, maintenance intervals, and specialized tools to minimize Life Cycle Costs (LCC). A core part of your role involves defining precise maintenance requirements, specifying minimum intervals, and ensuring systems are designed for easy maintenance. Furthermore, you will define and negotiate RAM requirements with both overall system managers and external suppliers. This position is pivotal in driving the transition towards advanced Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance strategies. Candidates must hold a relevant engineering degree and possess strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent proficiency in both German and English (B2-C2 level).
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Transport Systems, or similar fields.
Experience
- Professional experience with RAM/LCC relevant topics (advantageous)
- Know-How in methodologies such as FMEA or FTA (desirable)
- Experience in the analysis and evaluation of data, driving initiatives toward Condition Based Modelling and Predictive Maintenance
