Job Summary
This role involves supporting the "Technical-Scientific Information Technology" department within the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), specifically at the Bundeswehr Research Institute for Protective Technologies – NBC Protection (WIS). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing virtualization solutions, organizing network infrastructure across ESXi, VMWare, and Windows operating systems, and configuring Windows Active Directory and Windows Servers. Key responsibilities also include maintaining data storage and hardware servers, and managing technical certification and encryption for IT systems. This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 1, 2026, offering an attractive salary up to pay group 8 TVöD, with options for part-time work and home office, and includes participation in on-call or standby duties.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable vocational training.
