Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to lead and manage the IT department for the city of Schwarzenbek and its cooperation partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT and digitalization strategies, overseeing a team of 8 employees and 2 trainees, and ensuring the availability and security of IT infrastructure. This role involves significant responsibility in a collaborative environment, offering flexible working hours, professional development, and the chance to drive digital transformation within public administration. You will play a crucial role in maintaining IT security, conducting risk analyses, and advising leadership on IT standards and technical feasibility, managing approximately 5000 IT assets.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics. Instructor's certificate (Ausbilderschein) is desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT
- Several years of experience in personnel management (desirable)
- Experience with IT infrastructure and service management
- Experience in project management
- Experience in digitalization of administrative processes
